New Resource: Cyberbullying

Working in a middle school, I often speak to youth who report being “bullied.” School counselors spend time looking at the scenarios and helping youth understand the difference between being rude, mean, and bullying. Not every unkind thing said by a youth is bullying. When bullying is happening, we need to help our youth.  I wanted to put together a resource that will help as you search for information related to cyberbullying and bullying.

The topics include:

• The difference between being rude, mean, and bullying
• Where to report cyberbullying
• How to report/handle cyberbullying and bullying
• LGBTQ youth and bullying/cyberbullying
