Talking to Kids About Terrorism

Every year on September 11th, we remember those lost on 9/11/2001 and honor first responders, as well as everyone else who gave on that day and the years after. It was, and hopefully will stay, the most horrifying day I’ve experienced in my lifetime.

I was not a parent on 9/11, but years later I am. I now have children and they will have questions about 9/11. You may be in a similar situation in your home, classroom or therapy office. Before starting that conversation, here is a good site for you to visit  as a parent, educator or therapist to help craft your conversation to educate, not create fear with your child/student/client. ~Ryan
