Sendit

Sendit
Reviewed by Ryan: Sendit is an “anonymous app to use with true friends, for mature teens” and connects with Snapchat. Much like YikYak, anything that is anonymous, you should almost always be prepared for misuse, harassment and bullying. Sendit fits into that category. There are different games within the app that makes it very friendly for you average middle school aged youth. Basically you 1-choose a game, 2-share the game on Snapchat and allow for anonymous feedback, then 3-read the replies on the Sendit app.
Some game examples are:
- “They’re a 10 but…”
- “Soulmates, Friends and Enemies- reply to see what you are”
- “Yearbook Awards”
- “Choose Your Bae”
- “Blow up my inbox with yes or no questions”
- “Would You Rather”
- “Never Have I Ever”
- “This or That”
- “TBH”
This is not the total list, but as you can see, there “games” are geared to middle school developmentally and will allow for a host of inappropriate anonymous comments, harassment or bullying.
The app is rated 12+ for the following
“Infrequent/Mild Alcohol, Tobacco, or Drug Use or References
Infrequent/Mild Mature/Suggestive Themes
Infrequent/Mild Profanity or Crude Humor”
Sendit is available on IOS and Android
Read this review about Sendit from a youth who is not recommending it for anyone under the age of 17.
Below is a screenshot from a “truth or dare” game in the app.
I would not recommend this app for anyone under 17 years old. ~Ryan
