“TikTok in China versus the United States”

This is a very important video to watch if you are a parent or concerned adult. We’ve heard about TikTok’s data mining and concerns about cybersecurity over the past few years, but what’s more recent is the difference in content that users view based upon their location. Per this 60 Minutes video, it appears that users in China (the apps country of origin) get videos that are constructive and healthy (spinach) version while those users in the United States get the addictive “opium” version with videos that are not healthy and play into the addictive nature of social media. This video is a must-watch.
