Talking to Children About Terrorism

Today we remember those lost on 9/11/2001 and honor those who helped survivors out of harms way as well as everyone else who gave on that day and the months/years after. It was, and hopefully will stay, the most horrifying day I’ve experienced in my lifetime.

I was not a parent on 9/11, but 18 years later I am. I now have school aged children and they will begin to have questions about 9/11. You may be in a similar situation as I. Before starting that conversation, here is a good site for you to visit  as a parent to help craft your conversation to educate, not create fear with your child.
